i dance like the wind...

observations in the coffee shop where i work

two girls sitting across from me have bitched about the following:

• how ridiculous some people are for talking about others in earshot of people because they might be talking about a person someone else knows, or is friends with.  they then talk about how annoying one person they know is.  i listen intently.
• how annoying it is that a large group of people sat close to them just to chat and socialize while these two girls are obviously sitting at a table trying to study.  i notice one of the girls is scrolling through facebook during the rant.
• how loud the music playing in the store got at one point and how weird it is, rolling their eyes several times and saying “ugh is that even necessary right now?” 

all of this while neither of them have a drink on their table.  meaning they are willing to take up space and complain about everything around them but not buy anything.  not even a bottled fucking water.  

go somewhere else and take your entitlement and negative attitude with you.  please.  it’s distracting.
